mySHOP ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered Etsy analytics platform.
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, and password when you register. We also collect shop data you choose to sync, including Etsy orders, product listings, financial ledger entries, and expenses. We automatically collect usage data such as feature interactions, credit usage, and session information to improve the Service. When you rate one of Spryte’s answers with a thumb up or down, we keep that answer and the question you asked, so we can make answers better; both are deleted when you delete your account. Spryte saves short notes about your shop and preferences from your chats to personalize answers, and you can view and delete them; they are deleted when you delete your account.
We use your information to: provide and operate the Service; generate AI-powered insights and suggestions based on your shop data; send transactional emails (account, billing, trial reminders); send our monthly strategy newsletter if you opted in; improve our AI models and product features in an aggregated, anonymized way; and comply with legal obligations.
mySHOP uses large language models (LLMs) to analyze your shop data and generate insights. Your data is sent to AI processing providers under strict data processing agreements. We do not use your personal shop data to train public AI models. AI-generated outputs are based solely on the data you have provided.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: payment processors (Stripe) to handle billing; infrastructure providers (hosting, database) under confidentiality obligations; AI model providers solely for processing your requests; a product-analytics provider (PostHog) that helps us understand how the app is used so we can improve it, used inside the app without advertising or tracking cookies; an application-monitoring provider (LangSmith) that records the requests we send to our AI providers, including your question and the shop figures used to answer it, so we can diagnose faults and improve the quality of answers; and law enforcement when required by law. These monitoring records do not include your email address, and they are automatically deleted 14 days after they are created.
When you connect your Etsy shop, we obtain an OAuth access token from Etsy on your behalf. This token is stored securely and used only to fetch your shop data. You can revoke this connection at any time from the Integrations page, which permanently deletes your stored token.
If you opted in during registration, we will send you our monthly Etsy strategy newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. We will never share your email address with third-party marketers.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or use the "Clear All Data" feature, your synced shop data is permanently removed. You may request full account deletion by contacting support@my-shop.co.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure token storage, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data; withdraw consent for newsletter communications; and request a copy of data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@my-shop.co.
mySHOP uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: (1) strictly necessary cookies and local storage that keep you logged in and secure the Service; (2) analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that help us understand how the app is used; and (3) marketing cookies (the Meta/Facebook Pixel) that measure our advertising. Necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies load only after you agree through our cookie consent banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link. The full, always-current list of the cookies we use is shown below.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Our marketing site uses Google Analytics (traffic measurement) and the Meta Pixel (ad measurement), which set cookies in your browser. The signed-in app sets no analytics cookies at all — product analytics run in memory only. Your browser settings can block or clear cookies at any time.
